BIENVENIDA DEL COMITE ORGANIZADOR

Cantabria ha tenido el privilegio de ser sede del XIV Campeonato de Europa de Pesca 2008, situada al norte de España, es una de las zonas may hermosas de este país, por ello vivimos en pleno contacto directo con la naturaleza, altas montañas, valles profundos y sobre todo muchos ríos con abundante trucha autóctona, la belleza y disfrute de los paisajes, através de los valles y comarcas del Asón, Pas, Besaya y Cabuérniga os abrimos sus puertas, para dejar constancia de la calidad de las aguas de sus ríos y la belleza e historia de sus pueblos. Es por tanto una satisfacción dar la bienvenida a todos cuantos participéis en este campeonato y a sus acompañantes, deseando que pasen unas jornadas inolvidables y que el recuerdo de esta región y sus gentes se transforme en deseo de volver a nuestra tierral que siempre les recibirá con los brazos abiertos.

Cantabria has been honored with the privilege of being the host for the XIV FIPS-Mouse EUROPEAN FLY FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS, 2008. Cantabria is located in the north of Spain; we live in contact directly with the nature, it is one of the places most beautiful of this country, it is rounded by high mountains, deep valleys and more of all, many rivers with a lot of autochthonous trouts. We open our doors so that you, all, can enjoy the marvel landscapes, the valleys and regions of Asón, Pas and Cabuérniga, and the quality of the waters of their rivers as well as the warm of the people and the history of their towns.
It is a pleasure to welcome to all competitors and accompanying persons, wishing all of you to expend an unforgettable days and that this remember will make you to come back any time to this land which will receive you with open arms.
